    When it comes to balanced smoothies, you want to make sure each one has a protein in it to stabilize blood sugars. I personally like to use collagen powder for this.

    If you're struggling to whip up healthy smoothies when you're short on time, know that you can prep them in advance.

    To do this, place everything but the liquid into a plastic baggie and pop it in the freezer. In the morning, add liquid to your blender and then the contents of the baggie and blend!
