Short on time doesn’t have to mean being short on flavor… or health! These easy weeknight dinners range from classic comforts to throw-together bowls. All of which bring a delicious meal to your dinner table.

They’re dairy-free, gluten-free, and healthy dinner ideas that the whole family will love.

As a Certified Nutrition Coach, I strive to make healthy eating PRACTICAL. I truly believe that a delicious dinner doesn’t have to be boring but for moms, it does have to be simple!

This collection of easy weeknight dinners has everything from tender chicken meals in a slow cooker to 10-minute, sheet pan steak fajitas with bell peppers.

Some of the healthy dinner recipes are made to be paired with an easy side dish. Though most of them are complete meals in themselves. And all of them are delicious recipes ;)

Tips For Making Healthy Family Dinners EASY

Whipping up weeknight meals doesn’t come easily without a bit of pre-planning.

And trust me, chicken salad gets pretty boring after a while.

If you want to truly make healthy dinners WORK for you, and enjoy what you're eating, embrace a few of the following habits:

    • If you’re cooking two chicken breasts cook four (cook in bulk!)
    • Always have a grain or starch ready in the fridge (quinoa, rice, roasted chickpeas etc)
    • Use veggies twice (if you’re making easy roasted vegetables, make double and use the leftovers in a Buddha Bowl or quick pasta)

You don’t need to spend hours in the kitchen each Sunday getting ready for the week. But learning and implementing the meal prep basics will help keep dinnertime running smoothly.

Below you’ll find a ton of easy, dairy, and gluten-free weeknight dinners.

There is literally something for everyone and every occasion. Feel free to search specifics in the search sidebar. Please let me know if there is a style or idea you would like to see included and I’ll add it to my list!

I do add to my collection of dinner ideas frequently, so if you wish to receive new ideas straight to your inbox, subscribe to my weekly email list!
