    Let’s be real, mornings as a mom are pure chaos. Between lunches, backpacks, and someone always losing a shoe, breakfast usually gets pushed to the bottom of the list (or you end up inhaling coffee and calling it a meal).

    That’s why having breakfast meal prep ideas you can grab and go is such a game-changer. Recipes like these low-calorie baked oats or crazy indulgent caramel apple overnight protein oats make it ridiculously easy to eat something filling without having to think.     Why These Recipes Work

    Variety: These healthy make ahead recipes are a roundup of breakfast that can be made the night before and cooked in the morning or made and simply grabbed on rushed days.

    Healthy: All of the breakfast recipes are dairy-free, gluten-free, high in protein, and almost all of them use only honey and maple syrup for sweetness.

    Minimal prep: The easy make ahead breakfasts require less than 10 minutes of prep time making it easy to whip them up on busy days.

    Meal Prep Containers and Storage Tips

    For the fridge: There are a lot of containers on the market. However, I find that glass overnight oats jars work best for recipes like oats or chia pudding that you'll be storing in the fridge.

    Glass jars keep things extra fresh, and when it comes to meal prep ideas like overnight oats, they tend to hold the flavor better as well.

    For the freezer: We store them in plastic bags and separate the portions (like pancakes and protein bars) with pieces of parchment paper so that they don't stick together. For things like breakfast burritos with egg white wraps, they're best wrapped in parchment paper or tinfoil so that you can pop them into the oven as is!

    Grab and Go Breakfast Recipes

    These high-protein breakfasts are made the night before and are completely ready to eat in the morning (grab-and-go breakfast recipes). They're the best for when you're super rushed.
