Fizzy Watermelon Slushie
Warm weather means cool snacks, refreshing smoothies & of course watermelon! I adore watermelon and aim to eat as much of it as possible in the summer months. This watermelon slushie is perfect to nix my obsession and fizzy too!
We all know we need to keep our water intake high, especially in the summer months. And since watermelon is about ninety percent water it’s a pretty butt kicking choice (and so are these watermelon pops!)
Watermelon also contains a host of vitamins like A, B6 and C which are all packed into a low calorie delicious treat.
Which means this slushie drink is perfectly refreshing, full of antioxidants and perfect for a hot summers day.
You can rock this hydrating watermelon slushie as is for the kids (seriously they’ll fall in love with the color alone!) or, if you feeling like “adulting” this slushie is also amazing delicious with a shot of vodka (one shot per serving)
Ingredients In The Watermelon Slushie
- 3 cups chopped watermelon, seeded

Note: this recipes tastes just slightly more awesome with a squeeze of lime if you have it 😉
