I've written before about how much I love giving baskets in my Spa Basket post. And it's true! Homemade baskets are simple to whip together, cost effective and extremely thoughtful. I think they're the perfect gift for neighbors, acquaintances, teachers and random people you want to know you thought of them. Especially this baking basket
This baking basket is perfect for the person that loves to be in their kitchen (or just anyone who likes cookies!). It makes a cute Christmas gift and only takes a few minutes to throw together. My favorite thing about homemade baskets is you can include as much, or as little as you like. Making them extremely budget friendly.
This particular basket includes my absolute favorite paleo cookie recipe making it not only tasty but semi-healthy too! (well, I guess it at least counters the hot chocolate :P)
What To Include In This Easy Baking Basket
-
Cookie in a jar - you can use any cookie mix you like, just be sure to leave them directions!
-
Chocolate chips (to add to cookies of course!)
-
Candy cane hot chocolate (I like to put this in a jar)
-
Mini baileys (for the hot chocolate)
Other Tools You'll Need For The Baking Basket
-
Basket - size depending on how much you want to include, I get mine at the dollar store
-
Card stock and pen for label
Get all your jars filled and write labels or directions on the card stock. Attach the labels with twine by tying around the jar. Place everything into the basket! Some people make a big label for the front but I'm not that crafty 😉
