High-protein snacks that taste like dessert! These protein donut recipes are all delicious in their own right. Baked until soft and loaded with 10 grams of protein or more, these protein donuts make for the perfect pick-me-up.

Skip the coffee shop line and the sugar crash that comes with it and have some protein donuts on hand instead. Easy to make (no yeast!) these recipes use vegan protein powder and collagen powder to get their high protein amounts.

From your favorite pumpkin spice flavor to a glazed chocolate these baked donut recipes are sure to curb your cravings.

Reaping the benefits of a high protein diet doesn’t always mean binging on chicken and eggs. Instead, you can use high protein snack recipes like this to bump up your intake and still enjoy what you’re eating.

These are the kinds of recipes I use for myself and my clients to maximize energy and fitness goals (here are some of the meal plans for busy moms I offer).

    Key Notes

Easy: All of the protein donut recipes are easy to make with everyday pantry staples for a gluten-free diet.

Healthy: Each baked donut has 10 grams of protein (or more!) each and are also dairy-free and gluten-free.

Flavorful: The recipes below come in a variety of flavors to ensure that there’s something for everyone. Plus,  they can be topped any which way to make them as indulgent or simplistic as you wish. Dairy-free homemade caramel sauce is always a hit.

    Choosing A Protein Powder

These recipes use either a vegan protein powder or collagen powder for women to come together. Learn more about choosing a protein powder for your goals and how some protein powders absorb more liquid than others. With protein powder, the kind you choose will affect the taste and texture of the baked donuts.

Pure collagen powder is actually my personal favorite to use as it’s such a clean source of protein and much healthier for your gut. You can learn more about collagen powder versus protein powder.

    Protein Donut Recipes

These baked donuts don’t require any yeast to come together. They’re soft, delicious, and the perfect way to pick up your day. You will want a silicone donut mold for them, though as getting them out of a traditional mold (even greased) can be tricky.

Scroll through to find some new flavors and add these to your repertoire when you need something sweet.
