  • In a powerful blender place the berries, flax, almond butter, hemp hearts and almond milk.
  • Add in the pineapple and ice cubes.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • You may need a tamper to press everything down or extra water to thin the shake.
  • Pour into two mason jars, top with coconut whip cream, and enjoy!

Notes

  • The smoothie is best consumed right after blending. Storing in the fridge will make it separate.
  • You can easily add in protein powder if you wish but know it will alter the flavor and texture. Collagen is another option (not vegan) that will not alter the texture or flavor.
  • You can also add in some vegan Greek yogurt for a bit of protein (vanilla yogurt will make it creamy but not add in much protein).
  • The nutritional breakdown does not include coconut whipped cream.
