Dairy & Gluten-Free Blueberry Bagels

Deliciously sweetened and naturally gluten-free blueberry bagels for breakfast? Yes please!

Keeping busy mornings simple, that’s the benefit of these gluten-free blueberry bagels! These bagels are made with minimal ingredients and have a hint of honey in them to sweeten you up in the mornings.

Ingredients You’ll Need

The best part of these blueberry bagels is that they're easy to whip up. No malted barley flour, bread flour, active dry yeast, or dough hook needed. In fact, you probably have most of the ingredients on hand!

Gluten-Free all Purpose Flour

Not to be confused with baking flour or even bread flour, gluten-free flour absorbs a lot of liquid and gives these blueberry bagels their chewy texture.

Dairy-free yogurt

The yogurt helps the texture of the bagels and keeps them from becoming too dense. Any dairy-free yogurt should work so long as it’s not Greek Yogurt.

Quick yeast

We want to keep these gluten-free bagels as simple as possible so opt for dry yeast to keep the prep quick!

Small blueberries

The smaller the blueberries the more flavor you’ll have as they’ll be distributed better. Tiny, wild blueberries are best.

Egg whites

Used to harden the top of the bagel and give them some shine so that they look a little more traditional.

1. Mix the flour, yeast, and cinnamon. 2. Add in the yogurt and honey. 3. Mix until sticky, cover, and let sit. 4. Stir in the blueberries. 5. Portion and press each dough ball down into shape. Then, press a teaspoon into the middle. 1. Brush the egg wash over top. 2. Bake
