Add the tallow to a glass jar and slowly heat in a double broiler until melted.
Then, add in the carrier oil.
Pour into a bowl and let sit on the counter until it has hardened.
Whip it with a handheld mixer until fluffy while adding in the essential oils.
Portion it into 2 small mason jars.

When making any kind of lotion, take care not to get any water into the jar while you’re making it. Doing so will make the homemade face lotion go rancid far too early.Learn more about the do’s and don’ts of homemade lotions. A little goes a long way when using a whipped tallow face cream. As you apply it, portion it out smaller than you’d think.You’ll want to store any homemade lotion in a cool dark place (like a cupboard). When you’re using it, make sure you scoop out the lotion with clean, dry hands.
