And this gluten-free French toast recipe only needs six ingredients to make that happen.

Ingredients You Need

Gluten-free bread

Any should work, I personally use the one from Costco because it’s normally cheapest.

Vegan protein powder

the protein powder for this recipe works best if it’s vegan as it helps absorb liquid. I went with chocolate protein powder

Eggs you only need one and unfortunately egg whites don’t work as well. Creation eggs and flax eggs haven’t been tried with this protein powder French Toast recipe. Maple syrup you want a hint of sweetness in the mixture to make it extra delicious! This will depend slightly on how sweet your protein powder is though. And know that honey doesn’t tend to mix as well. Yogurt grab whatever non-dairy yogurt you have on hand in the fridge.
