Homemade Belly Butter To prevent Stretch Marks

A simple, DIY body butter recipe for pregnant belly stretch marks. Can be used during pregnancy and postpartum.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs almond oil
  • 1 tbs avocado oil
  • 2 tbs organic shae butter
  • 2 tbs coconut oil
  • 2 tbs beeswax
  • 8 drops lavender essential oil
  • 8 drops lemon essential oil
  • 5 frankincense essential oil
  • 8 drops helichrysum essential oil

Instructions

  1. In a double boiler, combine all ingredients except essential oils.

  2. Heat over medium until beeswax is fully melted and combined.

  3. Remove from heat, pour into a small glass jar and whisk in oils.

  4. Let sit at room temperature for fifteen to twenty four hours.
