Chocolate Covered Frozen Banana Bites

An easy, no-bake dessert perfect for warm weather. Minimal ingredients and a hit with kids!

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • 1/3 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbs coconut oil
  • 3/4 cups chocolate chips mini

Instructions

  • Slice your bananas and place half of them on a tray lined with parchment paper.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the vanilla and almond butter.
  • Portion out the almond butter mixture onto the bananas and top each one with another banana to make a “sandwich”.

  • Place in the freezer for a moment.
  • In a small pot, heat the coconut oil and chocolate chips at low temperatures. Once mostly melted, remove from heat and stir to combine.
  • Carefully, dip the banana sandwiches one at a time into the chocolate and place them back on the parchment paper.

  • Freeze for thirty minutes or until you’re ready to enjoy it!
  • Makes 23 banana bites (roughly)
