Frozen Hot Chocolate-GF/V
A tasty, nutrient-dense indulgence! This paleo smoothie is loaded with chocolate flavor and easy to whip up.
Servings 1 Serving
- ¼ frozen banana
- 1 package mushroom cacao mix
- 2 tbs boiling water
- 2/3 cup almond milk
- 5 ice cubes
- 1 tbs coconut cream
- Chocolate Syrup
- ½ tablespoon cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Coconut whip cream for topping * optional but awesome
Whisk together the syrup ingredients and set aside.
In a large blender, combine all the ingredients for the hot chocolate and mix until everything is smooth.
Use almost all of the chocolate syrup to drizzle it into the glass making sure to get all sides. Pour the frozen hot chocolate.
Top with homemade coconut whip cream and the remaining chocolate syrup.
Sit back and enjoy.
