In a large bowl combine all the dry ingredients. Mix in the wet ingredients one by one until you have a big sticky mess.

Portion and roll the dough into balls and use your hands to press them into a cookie shape on a prepared baking sheet. Press your thumb lightly into each cookie.

Whisk together the chocolate frosting. Use a spoon to top each thumbprint cookie with chocolate frosting.
The cookies are very delicate coming out of the oven so don't move them. Let them cool fully on the cookie tray first.
