The Two Minute Transformation
In a world in which it’s super easy to only show your best self, I want to give a huge THANK YOU to the women who are going above and beyond to showcase the two-minute transformation.
You are helping women everywhere know and remember that we’re not perfect looking all the time. That rolls when you sit down is normal. That lighting, angles, and posing go a long way.
We need to STOP putting so much of our mental selves in the way others look. And instead, we need to value how we move more.

If you don’t know what a two-minute transformation is, it is when an influencer posts a picture of the ideal (the fit, strong, sexy, or lean look) followed by a picture in the same clothes two minutes later, relaxed and normal.
The two-minute transformation is amazing because I truly believe we need to show more real-life and less social media life.
We all have rolls when we sit down. And even those who are lean don’t walk around flexed and jacked all the time. We slouch, we tuck into our pants and we don’t always look perfectly posed.
If we’re going to stop comparing ourselves to the idea (and whose idea is this?!) we need to first realize that the ideal is make-belief. That it’s not always real life.
So cheers, to all the influencers keeping it real.
My goal for you this week is to find your confidence. To know that you can love yourself and work on yourself at the same time and to start putting a little less energy into the envying the Instagram “reality”.
