Mindfulness And Meditation
Reduce stress, anxiety, and have a bit more gratitude for your situation by learning to be more mindful. It’s not easy. In fact, when it comes to goals, workouts and healthy eating are far easier.
However, being mindful will make a big difference to your day to day life.
And you don’t need to go into full meditation mode to find your zen! Use the tips in this podcast to work meditation into your day.. in under five minutes.

Meditation has never been a strong point for me. In fact, I find it the most difficult of habits. While I can appreciate the benefits of meditation, it’s the practice that I struggle with.
What I have learned however, is that meditation doesn’t work in a traditional sense for me. Sitting and trying to control my mind only causes stress. All I think of are to-do lists and what I “should be” doing.
Sound familiar?
Well guess what? There’s no one way to meditate. Meditation and mindfulness are a state of mind, not a place. I find I best achieve this during movement, solo forest walks.
And in doing this I have been better able to check in with myself, to appreciate what is going on around me, and to induce calm when I need it.
It’s a practice definitely. It’s not a quick thing. But it also makes a huge difference day to day in controlling stress.
Figure out how to find your zen mamas.
My goal for you this week is to try something new. Try a new way to be mindful, a new place to self reflect or be more in tune with yourself. And then to appreciate where you’re at.
