All mamas have different standards when it comes to how they want their kids to eat. However, all mamas are also busy AF and none of us have spare time to spend in the kitchen!

Which is why I strive to make easy healthy recipes PRACTICAL for everyday mamas.

I enjoy everything from healthy breakfasts to simple, real-food based desserts, and everything in between! And I share all of our tasty, easy recipes here for you to enjoy also.

Easy Recipes

It wasn’t until my late thirties that I actually began to cook at all. I grew up mostly on fast-food. And while I do know my way around a kitchen now, I simply don’t have the patience (or the time) to be in there very long.

This means that I tend to stick to easy, healthy recipes that suit my family’s lifestyle.

I prefer no-bake ANYTHING (chocolate energy bars comes to mind) and truly love healthy recipes for kids that can be whipped up in under thirty minutes and have the least likely chance I’ll mess them up. Simple is best.

I tend to focus on quick, easy meals, and snacks as both my daughters like to join me in the kitchen helping. This allows them to learn and us to bring up the conversation of food and what it does for our bodies.

Tips For Healthy Dinner Recipes

When it comes to healthy dinner recipes, I can’t be bothered whipping up anything too fancy. Below is pretty much my go-to solution for easy dinner recipes:

  1. Pick a protein (tofu, chicken, beef etc)
  2. Choose 2-3 veggies and roast them
  3. Grab a grain (our favorites for healthy dinner recipes are quinoa, basmati rice or chickpea noodles)
  4. Whip up a sauce

Truth be told, I rotate through this formula more often than not. And while my dinner ideas may look or sound a bit fancier. I promise they are not (who has the time?).

Almost all of the healthy dinner recipes take 20-30 minutes to make and they’re loaded with whole foods.

Easy Healthy Recipes For Kids

All of my concoctions (but especially my snacks and easy dessert ideas) are kid-approved! My kids taste test everything that comes onto this blog (which is their favorite job) so I hope yours love them too.

I am a firm believer that raising healthy kids starts with quality food and so that will always be the focus.

Some of my kids favorite easy recipes to make are:

  • Cashew cookies
  • Paleo Morning Glory Muffins
  • Chocolate Coconut Energy Balls

Below you’ll find lading pages to all of my easy healthy recipes organized by meal.

Almost all of the ideas on this website are gluten-free and dairy-free though feel free to search specifics in the search sidebar. Please let me know if there is a style or idea you would like to see included and I’ll add it to my list!

I do add to my collection of healthy recipes frequently, so if you wish to receive new ideas straight to your inbox, subscribe to my weekly email list!
