5-MINUTE MONDAY’S- Five Minute Workouts
Get out of the belief that workouts need to be in a gym for sixty full minutes. As a busy mom, it won’t happen. If you want to see results and feel better, you need to make movement happen consistently.
And five-minute workouts can do that.
Up the intensity and keep the duration short by implementing five-minute workouts into your day. They’re simple, fast, and a great way to get your body moving!
We need to release the mindset that workouts need to be so structured when you have littles. It’s overwhelming and one of the reasons that busy moms struggle with fitness.
Instead, we need to empower and remind ourselves that movement matters. Any movement. Daily movement.
Amanda from Fit Chicks gave me the idea for this and I fell in love with it: 5-minute workouts. They’re simple, speedy and extremely effective.
Plus, they give your mind some peace that you got in a workout for the day.
Stop overcomplicating fitness and stressing about time. Instead, rock what you’ve got (five minutes or less) and roll with it.
- Glute Bridges
- Swing Through
Perform all exercises for 30s. Take a 30s break and repeat five minutes.
- Plank Jacks
Perform the exercises as a Tabata (20s of work: 10s of rest). Alternate the exercises until you hit five minutes.
I’ve been doing LIVE five-minute workouts on Monday mornings over on Instagram. So, if you need some inspiration, jump on and join me or check out my highlights.
My goal for you this week is for you to stress less about workouts. Remember that all movements make a difference and to get your sweat on in five minutes.
