Strawberry Figg Yogurt Smoothie
As a green smoothie lover, it’s not often I make a shake that doesn’t have some sort of healthy, leafy green in it! However, I also enjoy super bright smoothies (like this pink one) so sometimes I step out of my norm 😉 This smoothie is delicious, sweet and protein powder free!
Smoothies are a necessity in my house for both baby bear and myself. I love them because they’re quick, simple and you can jam so many good things into them that kids would otherwise not eat (check out how to build a better smoothie here).

This strawberry based smoothie contains all sorts of healthy ingredients.
Figs are a great source if minerals, they’re sweet, give the smoothie a creamy texture and if you’re trying to get pregnant have been shown to help boost sperm count!
Adding in sunflower seed butter and chia seeds gives the shake a great dose of healthy fats and the greek yogurt helps keep tummies full.
My daughter adores this smoothie because it’s so sweet but also because of its bright color- so you can’t go wrong!
It’s a delicious, healthy refreshing treat on a summers day and the color definitely helps perk up your mood.
