As a society we place a lot of focus on numbers- the scale, body fat and even our caloric intake. But what we fail to emphasize is our health! There is no one number that makes you “healthy”. And the truth is, the word health means something different to us all.
Instead of promising you an extreme weight loss goal (lose fifteen pounds in three weeks!) I’m here to help you focus on your health and giving your body the fuel it needs.
No matter what your current goal is (weight loss, more energy better blood profile), taking the time to consume quality nutrients can help.
Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring, bland or time consuming. In fact, it can be easy! One of the goals of the next two weeks is to show you that healthy eating can be practical while still giving you the benefits you’re looking for.
What The Restart Is All About
This program isn’t a weight loss program- in fact, that’s not the primary focus at all (check out why here: Why Weight Loss Isn’t The Focus). This program has no restriction, no tracking and no expectations that you eat something specific at a specific time.
After what seems like decades of trial and error I’ve come to realize that how you feel is much more important than how you look.
Instead, this program focuses on choosing optimal foods to help your body do its job. Nutrients are the building blocks we need to function and thrive- you just need to get them in. The program comes with a list of ideal foods and foods to avoid if you really want to push yourself. But truthfully, if you eat a donut the world won’t end 😉
Learn to make the bulk of your habits healthy ones, take it one step at a time and never tell yourself you can’t have something. The choice is yours.
It’s my hope that this program helps you learn more about the types of foods your body needs (and doesn’t need) and begin to realize that healthy eating doesn’t have to be horrible.
