Recipe Roundup: 9 Ways To Make Curry
Curry is stocked full of immune boosting ingredients (garlic, ginger & onion) so it’s a pretty common staple in my house. But what makes it even better, is that there are so many ways to prepare it!
From sweet to spicy and creamy to chunky, curry is extremely versatile. And after having tried many a curry dishes, below are my top nine!
This one comes to us from Graeme Thomas who I used to work with. Not only is the recipe tasty but it’s a great low fat alternative to the traditional cream based ones!
This vegan dish from Oh She Glow (who just might be my favorite person ever) who is extremely hearty and is a great blend of creamy and chunky. It’s a bit of a spin without the lentils but the sweet potatoes add a nice flavor.
I love a sweet curry as the alternative to the regular. And mangos work perfectly. This curry hits the spot with just enough sweet: savory blend.
A great alternative for meat eaters as you’ll get lots of protein from the lentil. This recipe is unbelievably simple to make but tastes great all the same.
I recently just got into green curry and love it. For this recipe I went with chicken versus fish but that’s just preference. This particular curry is extremely creamy which makes it lip smacking yummy.
This recipe is very basic (mostly spices) which makes it super fragrant. It’s tasty and a bit lighter as it uses yogurt instead of cream or coconut milk.
This curry is a bit on the spicy side so nice if you have a cold you need to kick. I personally add in a few veggies to stretch it more but the taste is amazing. Note: Looking to get started rocking a vegan lifestyle? You can check out this post here.
using yellow Thai sauce gives a nice light flavor and the potatoes in the recipe keep it hearty. I like to add in a few mushrooms but that’s just me
All the yum of a regular curry but a nice pinch of sweet from the apples. This dish will leave your house smelling tasty!
